ONE OF TUCSON’s newest hotspots just off 4th Avenue on 7th street, is a weekends-only pinball arcade, D&D Pinball.

RESPLENDENT with rows of electrifyingly bright, bell-dinging machines -that unmistakable pure sound of a gaming era that frankly should never have been passed by – was at the heart of a great night out with the kids.

THE 7 YEAR-OLD Pinball Wizard pictured here is my youngest son who like his brother and sister – all tech-saturated children of their Age – chewed through the quarters to play the next ‘Pin’, immersed in the mechanical, silver ball, worlds of Godzilla, Stargate, the Addams Family and many more.

Too much fun.

  1. The only real difference from its ancestor is that today’s pinball machines are digital instead of mechanical. They’re just as much fun, and you don’t have to be a kid to enjoy !!! How’s the great southwest treating you/yours?
